As part of the Euroflex range of flexible films we also have a strong and growing customer base in non food flexible packaging. This area of business also requires functional and highly technical film structures that offer many challenges to flexible packaging.

Whilst this area of business has many different packaging requirements to the food industry, the solutions to these requirements are developed in a similar fashion.

The Euroflex technical service team work closely with our non-food customer base in establishing and determining how to improve the current flexible films used - and subsequently provide to our customers flexible functional laminated structures that offer enhanced capabilities.

Our customers have had success within this Market Sector with Euroflex by improving the machinability of the flexible films used and thus providing increased production capacity and higher running speeds through better sealability at lower temperatures. These highly technical film structures also have improved sealability through contaminants such as soap powder dust, and greased and oiled sealing areas. We have improved the moisture barrier levels in water-wipes (keeping moisture in the pack this time) whilst maintaining the pack flexibility/softness and improved consumer visibility through the highest quality printing. We have improved shelf-life in animal foods by custom constructing highly functional triple laminated structures that also accept high impact print. We have increased UV protection and offered solutions to print limitations whist still maintaining a competitive advantage for our customers.

Euroflex Packaging can offer its non-food customers complicated and very functional and improved laminated structures using Metallised / alox coated polyesters and polypropylenes, peelable PE’s sealable to PP or PE trays or base webs, triple laminated Flow wrap films with 100% print providing barriers to sunlight as well as single, double or triple laminated structures with improved sealing capabilities and barrier properties all with high quality and visually impacting print.
